Liverpool handed major Federico Chiesa BOOST as Juventus announce replacement
Liverpool have been handed a boost in their pursuit for Federico Chiesa as Juventus have announced the signing of Francisco Conceicao.
The Portuguese's arrival in Turin may pave the way for Chiesa to depart Juventus before Friday's deadline with Liverpool having declared their interest in the 26 year-old.
Liverpool sporting director Richard Hughes said earlier this summer that the club would be "opportunistic if we can" when it came to making signings and this could be one of the opportunities the Anfield side may pounce on.

Chiesa is understood to be interested in a move to the Premier League and has given the Reds his full availability to move to Merseyside, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Reds are believed to have made an initial approach for Chiesa as a possible option for the final days of the window with Juventus wanting to offload the forward.
It is apparent that Arne Slot is looking for a back-up to Mohamed Salah and the Italian could prove to be a very smart coup for Liverpool.
Chiesa could be a low-risk high-reward signing
Chiesa has entered his final year of his current deal at Juventus with the Italian giants asking for just €15 million for the winger.
It has the potential to be a very low-risk high-reward signing considering the price and the quality Chiesa has portrayed in the past.
The Italian international has struggled with injuries over recent years but with the demands on him playing every minute of every game being less with a move to Liverpool, this transfer may be a clever deal for all parties.
Chiesa can operate anywhere in attack which will be seen as valuable as just being able to provide cover for Salah.
The Italian has played 131 times for Juventus and was a key figure in Italy's European Championship winning side in 2021 before injuries limited his game time in recent seasons.
Liverpool are closing in on a deal for Valencia goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili but have yet to make a signing so far this summer under new manager Arne Slot.
The Reds were heavily interested in signing their main target Martin Zubimendi but he opted to stay in the Basque country with boyhood club Real Sociedad.
