Wonderkid set to MOVE as ‘great’ offer made

A great offer is being prepared to sign one of Liverpool's targets this summer.

We are officially approaching the beginning of what constitutes as the frantic, crazy summer transfer window. It's a time full of speculation with lots of moves being made.

At this stage of the season, nobody really knows what is going to happen. Liverpool are already working on deals and holding talks with their key targets but these are all just preliminary discussions.

No big decisions have been made just yet. Although it's fair to presume that Richard Hughes is in for a busy summer of activity with plenty of things to sort out.

The Liverpool sporting director hasn't really began his career at the club in the most positive light but he's got a chance to redeem himself with a big window.

This will require signing some of the best talent around. Although when it comes to the exciting Sverre Nypan, it seems like Jurgen Klopp's former club might have a say in the matter.

Sverre Nypan has attracted the attention of Liverpool this season as well as pretty much the entirety of Europe's big clubs. He's a generational talent with unbelievable skills, that has been tipped to go very far in the game.

In Norway, Nypan has been dubbed as the next best thing to emerge from the country after the likes of Erling Haaland and Martin Odegaard.

At 18-years-old, the youngster already has a wealth of experience playing for Rosenborg and it's no surprise some of the biggest clubs in the world are very much lining up for his signature.

For Liverpool, the interest is particularly great because the Reds will still rue missing out on Odegaard all those years ago. Back when he was a teenager he trained with the Reds under Brendan Rodgers.

Odegaard was a Liverpool fan and it seemed like the perfect deal on paper but in the end he opted to join Real Madrid and the rest is history.

Unfortunately, Liverpool's pursuit of Nypan may not get a happy ending either. According to Fichajes in Spain, Borussia Dortmund are set to win the race for his signature.

The report claims that a 'great offer' is being made which will stand at around €15m, and the magnitude of this offer is impossible for Rosenborg to refuse.

For Nypan it's the opportunity to join a club that has excelled in player development over the years. Not only has Dortmund played a key role in Haaland's trajectory but also the likes of Jude Bellingham and Jadon Sancho.

Liverpool will be gutted to miss out. Joining Dortmund makes sense for Nypan but it's a move that if it becomes successful pretty much puts him out of the Reds price range with the German side often demanding extortionate fees for their best talent.
