From Trent Alexander-Arnold to Curtis Jones, Conor Bradley and Caoimhin Kelleher, Liverpool’s first is now filled to the brim with young stars who were developed in the Reds’ academy.

And there are many more looking to follow in their footsteps, including the likes of Trey Nyoni, Jayden Danns and Rio Ngumoha, who are regarded as some of the best prospects on the periphery of the first team at the moment.

Yeguo is a relatively new name that has emerged on Liverpool’s radar after making his debut for the club’s U18 side.

He’s an exciting talent who has already made impressive strides. Here’s everything you need to know about him.

Who is AJ Yeguo?

Yeguo’s full name is Aiden Yeguo-Tomaszowicz. He’s actually of Polish descent, adding him to a plethora of Polish talents at the academy, including Fabian Mrozek and Kornel Misciur.

The 15-year-old youngster has already made his debut for Poland at U15 level and he’s eligible to play for England as well.

So far he’s made two appearances for Poland both as a substitute against Finland and Slovakia - his first appearance came when he was just merely 14 years old.

He made his debut for the club’s U18 side against Newcastle despite still being eligible to play for Liverpool’s U15 team.

At 15 years, six months and two days old, Yeguo becomes the seventh youngest player in this century to debut at U18 level for Liverpool.

He's debuted at a younger age than Jayden Danns (15 years, 7 months), Curtis Jones (15 years, 10 months) and Trent Alexander-Arnold (15 years, 9 months) just to name a few of the club's most notable academy graduates in recent years.

That is a marker of how highly rated he is by the club. A talented midfielder who reads the game really well, Yeguo has an abundance of quality that makes him a player to keep a close eye on.

Back in January 2025, he’d already penned a landmark deal with the renowned PLG agency who will now represent the young star.

This is the same agency that represents Trent Alexander-Arnold and a host of other players including Jarrod Bowen and Andy Robertson

The fact that they decided to represent Yeguo again speaks volumes of his exciting talent.
