The festive fixture list hasn't been too kind to Liverpool this year, with the Reds playing eight games in just 24 days over the Christmas period.

With Liverpool beating Bournemouth 2-1 in the Carabao Cup to advance to the quarter-final of the competition, Jurgen Klopp's men now have an extra game to squeeze in during the hectic festive schedule.

While Liverpool players and staff will be hard at work, cursing the chaotic fixture list, supporters will get plenty of opportunities to see the Reds in action around Christmas.

Eight games in three competitions between the beginning of December and Boxing Day, what's not to love as a Liverpool fan, eh?

WHEN LIVERPOOL PLAY OVER CHRISTMAS

Liverpool's festive slog gets underway with the Reds hosting Fulham in the Premier League on 3 December, before travelling to Sheffield United just three days later.

There is absolutely no rest for the wicked, with Klopp's side in action against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Saturday, 9 December in the dreaded early kick-off slot.

Liverpool play again the following Thursday in their final Europa League group stage match, jetting off to Belgium to face Union Saint-Gilloise.

With the Reds likely qualified by that point, it will probably be a makeshift side that faces USG considering Manchester United arrive at Anfield on Sunday, 17 December.

In what could prove a pivotal few days in several competitions, Liverpool's Carabao Cup quarter-final at home to West Ham will be played the following Wednesday, before a third successive home game against Arsenal back in the Premier League on 23 December.

Hopefully, the Christmas turkey will have had enough time to be fully digested before the Reds' trip to Turf Moor on Boxing Day. The Reds' final game of December is up against Vincent Kompany's strugglers, with Newcastle United next up on New Year's Day.

While Christmas is usually the perfect opportunity to spend quality time with your loved ones, there will be plenty of football on the TV to test your loyalty.
