Liverpool left-back Andy Robertson has previewed the final phase of the 2021-22 campaign.

The Reds have secured the League Cup and FA Cup so far this season. However, Jurgen Klopp's side could also win the Premier League title and Champions League in the coming weeks.

With that being the case, Robertson has stated that Liverpool will fight until the very end.

As quoted by Anfield Watch on Twitter, he told the Liverpool Echo the following: “We've shown that we know how to win trophies. We've stood tall, put in good performances, dug deep and we're delighted to obviously have the two trophies in the bag. That's incredible and we're still fighting for the Premier League.

“It's out of our hands but we'll obviously fight for the Champions League when the time comes to it. (Real) Madrid have knocked us out (2020 quarter-finals) and they have beaten us in the final (2018), so it'd be nice to play them again and try and get one over on them because we've not managed it.

“It will be an incredibly difficult game but we've got big Premier League games to focus on first and then we'll have a week to focus on that game.

“I am sure we'll be ready for the Champions League final. The adrenaline will get us through and we're all looking forward to the occasion already.”

Anfield Watch Verdict

It would be brilliant if Liverpool could secure the quadruple this season. Manchester City possess a four-point lead over the Reds in the Premier League table.

But, Liverpool do have a game in hand. In terms of the Champions League final, Klopp's side will face Real Madrid in Paris on the 28th of May.

Liverpool fans have plenty to look forward to between now and the end of the season. However, with so much on the line, it will be difficult to sit back and enjoy the final phase of the 2021-22 campaign.
