Brentford striker Ivan Toney has revealed that he was a Liverpool supporter growing up.

The 25-year-old further added that he would be willing to sign for the Reds as a squad player.

Liverpool have not been linked with a move for Toney. However, there is no denying that the Englishman would add depth to the club's forward line.

Toney has scored 36 goals in 63 appearances for Brentford. Perhaps one day we will see Liverpool make a move for the forward.

You just never know what might happen in football.
