Liverpool will face Leicester City at Anfield tonight. The League Cup quarter-final clash will kick-0ff at 07:45pm.

However, Reds assistant boss Pep Lijnders has confirmed that striker Divock Origi will miss the match due to injury.

It is a shame to hear that the Belgium international won't be available to face the Foxes. Origi has scored two goals in two League Cup appearances this season.

The aforementioned figures highlight that the 26-year-old would have given Liverpool a point of different up front (had be been picked to play) against Leicester City.
