Video: Jurgen Klopp provides an injury update on Diogo Jota
Liverpool welcomed Arsenal to Anfield last Saturday. The Reds won the aforementioned Premier League fixture 4-0.
Once the match had concluded, Liverpool boss Jugen Klopp confirmed that Reds forward Diogo Jota took a knock to the knee during the second half.
The injury occurred when the Portugal international clattered into Gunners goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale. Jota was substituted 76 minutes into the match.
Klopp did not know how serious the issue was post-match. But, the German added that he is hoping for the best.
Jota is an important player for Liverpool. The striker has scored 19 goals in 45 appearances for the Reds.
Therefore, hopefully the knock that Jota picked up last weekend is nothing too serious.
