Video: Jurgen Klopp praised Arsenal youngster after League Cup semi-final clash
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has praised Arsenal forward Gabriel Martinelli.
The Reds came up against the Gunners at the Emirates Stadium last night. Liverpool won the aforementioned League Cup semi-final second leg clash 2-0 (2-0 on aggregate, also).
However, Martinelli played very well against Liverpool. The Brazil international looked to make things happen when he got on the ball.
With that being the case, Klopp lauded Martinelli in his post-match press conference.
Anfield Watch Verdict
Liverpool have not genuinely been linked with a move for Martinelli. However, it is clear that Klopp is a fan of the forward.
Martinelli is having a decent season for Arsenal. The 20-year-old has scored four goals and registered three assists in 20 appearances, which highlights that he does possess potential.
Hopefully one day we see Martinelli and Liverpool cross paths.
