Video: Joel Matip and Virgil van Dijk pinging long-range crosses before the Atletico game
Liverpool defeated Atletico Madrid 2-0 at Anfield on Wednesday night.
Right before the Champions League group stage clash got underway, Liverpool centre-backs Joel Matip and Virgil van Dijk were pinging long-range crosses to one another.
As you can see in the footage below, both players are very good with the ball at their feet.
Matip and Van Dijk were solid against Atletico Madrid. Both defenders registered WhoScored player ratings of 6.68 and 7.21 respectively.
On another note, Liverpool will face West Ham United at the Olympic Stadium this weekend. The game will kick-off at 04:30pm.
