Video: Jan Aage Fjortoft provides update on the future of reported Liverpool target

Pundit Jan Aage Fjortoft has provided an update on the future of Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland.

The Norway international has been linked with a move to Liverpool.

However, Fjortoft has made it clear that no one knows where Haaland's long-term future lies.

We would obviously love to see the Reds make a move for the 21-year-old. Haaland is a quality player after all.

The forward has scored 76 goals in 74 appearances for Borussia Dortmund.

Haaland's contract expires at the conclusion of the 2023-24 campaign. The youngster will reportedly be available for a transfer fee of somewhere around €100 million (release clause).
