Liverpool midfielder Harvey Elliott made his comeback from a serious ankle injury on Saturday.

The Englishman, who has been out of action since September, took part in a behind-closed-doors under-23s friendly against Wrexham at Kirkby.

In fact, Elliott scored during the aforementioned match. As you can see in the footage below, which is property of LFC TV, the 18-year-old dribbled his way into the opposition penalty area and then found the back of the net.

Anfield Watch Verdict

We can't wait to see Elliott play for Liverpool's first-team again. The 18-year-old is a serious talent.

Elliott averaged a WhoScored player rating of 6.59 across Liverpool's opening four matches of the 2021-22 Premier League campaign, which highlights that he is already good enough to play at the highest level.

But, there is no denying that the youngster still has plenty of room left for improvement.
