Former Liverpool centre-back Jamie Carragher has recently spoken about his career.

The 43-year-old was a one-club player. Between 1997-2013, Carragher made 737 appearances for Liverpool's first-team.

The Scouser also won nine major trophies with the Reds. Despite having a great career, Carragher has stated that he did not enjoy his playing days because he was too hard on himself.

We can see where Carragher is coming from. There is obviously a fair bit of pressure that comes with being a professional footballer.

Therefore, you do have to be honest with yourself. The video below is property of Sky Sports (39:00).
