Video: All three Roberto Firmino goals against Watford
Coming into the game against Watford, Roberto Firmino was yet to really get a string of games under his belt, which makes his hat-trick all the more impressive. It was a classic striker’s hat-trick, too, something not usually associated with Firmino, who is far from an old-fashioned number nine. With every goal, however, he was perfectly placed to tap home.
Perhaps it is a mark of how he is attempting to change his game, or perhaps is was simply a coincidence to see the Brazilian playing more of a classic forward role, poaching in the box. Either way, it worked to perfection for Liverpool, as they eased to victory over a lacklustre Watford side.
