If you were to field an all-time Liverpool XI, you would be hard pushed to omit Mohamed Salah.

Having now netted his 200th goal for the Reds, becoming only the fifth Liverpool player to reach the milestone, Salah's place among club legends like Steven Gerrard and Kenny Dalglish is assured.

The Egyptian has won everything on offer for the Reds, breaking countless records in the process and establishing himself as a Premier League icon.

The winger's consistency and ruthlessness in front of goal has set him apart from the rest and his significance to Liverpool cannot be understated.

Salah has been a regular match-winner for the Reds, frequently popping up with game-changing goals when Jurgen Klopp has needed him most.

In fact, according to Opta, 56 of Salah's efforts for the Reds have come while games have been goalless, Liverpool's No. 11 regularly popping up when the scoreboard reads 0-0.

Of course, that was the case when Liverpool won the Champions League in 2019, Salah's early penalty settling the nerves in Madrid and sending the Reds on their way to a sixth European Cup.

Salah has proved incredibly decisive in tight games for the Reds in the past and has already scored the opening goal of the game on three occasions this season.

Out of Salah's double-century of Liverpool strikes, the winger has also notched 55 match-winning goals, once again highlighting his importance to the Reds' success under Klopp.

In the 11 different games that Salah has scored in this season, Liverpool have only failed to win one - the 2-2 draw with Brighton back in October.

It goes without saying that Salah has delivered plenty of game-defining goals since arriving on Merseyside in 2017 and Liverpool continue to lean on him heavily with every passing season.

Hopefully, Salah can shoot the Reds to glory again this campaign, adding to his impressive record as a result.

The Liverpool winger already has 14 goals and eight assists to his name this season as the Reds find themselves top of the Premier League table and flying in the Europa League and Carabao Cup.
