'The sky is the limit' - Andy Robertson celebrates sensational Liverpool youngster

Andy Robertson says "the sky is the limit" for his fellow full-back Conor Bradley after the youngster put in another impressive display in Sunday's Carabao Cup final. 

Both Robertson and Bradley started the match at left-back and right-back respectively, although a first-half reshuffle following Ryan Gravenberch's injury forced the latter to play on the right wing.

It was another solid display from Bradley, who has made a lightning quick start to his Liverpool career since deputising for the injured Trent Alexander-Arnold.

The 20-year-old has registered a goal, five assists and three cleans sheets in 2024, and now has his first piece of silverware for the Reds following Liverpool's 1-0 Carabao Cup victory against Chelsea.

Bradley's displays have been mightily impressive given his inexperience on the big stage and his teammate Robertson thinks he has an enormous future at Anfield.

"He showed every quality he's got and he knows he can play at this level," said Robertson following the Carabao Cup final. "But now it's about consistency, it's about doing it week in and week out, and that's what makes a top player.

"He's got all the attributes to become a top player, he just needs to keep showing that on a regular basis and that's what he's doing right now.

"He can go to the very top, that's a fact. Of course, he needs a little bit of luck and he needs to keep on having the attitude that he's got right now because it's second to none.

"He wants to improve, he wants to get better. He's always improving and when he's like that, the sky is the limit for him because he's got every other attribute you could ask for from a full-back.

"He's an incredible talent and he just needs to keep doing what he's doing, and then get the consistency that he's got and keep on doing it for a 38-game season."

With Alexander-Arnold sidelined for the foreseeable future - potentially absent until after the March international break - Bradley will be given plenty of opportunities in the first team in the coming weeks.

Given Liverpool's lack of depth in attacking areas, he may also be used by Klopp in a more advanced role on the flank, as was the case against Chelsea on Sunday.
