Pundit Roy Keane has recently been talking about Borussia Dortmund and England midfielder Jude Bellingham.

The 18-year-old has impressed the former Manchester United midfielder.

Keane said that Bellingham possesses plenty of potential. The 50-year-old also touched on Bellingham's range of passing.

Liverpool have been linked with a move for the Englishman.

As quoted by HITC, Keane told ITV Sport the following: “We love everything about him. What he’s doing on the pitch. The way he speaks off of it. He’s playing week in, week out for his club. The potential for this kid, it is scary.

“I saw him recently playing for Dortmund in a Champions League game and he was producing passes where I was like 'I didn’t think he had that in his locker just yet'.

“The potential for this kid. He’s a good size, he looks like a boxer.”

ANFIELD WATCH VERDICT

We completely agree with Keane's comments. Bellingham is a seriously good footballer.

The midfielder has scored seven goals and registered 11 assists in 64 appearances for Borussia Dortmund.

Bellingham is also averaging a WhoScored player rating of 7.62 in the early stages of the 2021-22 Champions League campaign.

The aforementioned figures highlight that the 18-year-old is a capable senior footballer. Due to Bellingham's age, of course it would be fair to assume that he will improve over time.

We would love to see Liverpool sign the youngster. Bellingham's contract expires in the summer of 2025.

The Englishman possesses a current market value of €70 million.
