The final player ratings from Liverpool's 2-2 draw against Man City

Liverpool came from behind twice to secure a 2-2 draw against Manchester City at the Etihad on Sunday.

Below are our player ratings from the Premier League fixture.

Alisson - 7/10

Alisson certainly saw plenty of the ball against Pep Guardiola's side. There wasn't an awful lot he could do about either of Manchester City's goals.

Kevin De Bruyne's shot took a deflection before hitting the back of the net and Trent Alexander-Arnold lost Gabriel Jesus at the back post.

But, Alisson was solid when he could influence play.

Trent Alexander-Arnold - 6.5/10

Alexander-Arnold was well off the pace for the majority of the match. The right-back failed to complete a few passes early on in the game and was at fault for Manchester City's second goal.

However, Alexander-Arnold did register an assist.

Joel Matip - 7/10

Matip did look nervous early on against Manchester City. Once the centre-back settled, he was fine.

Unfortunately, De Bruyne's shot which found the back of the net did take an unlucky deflection of Matip.

But, that does happen from time-to-time in a game of football. You can't control everything that happens.

Virgil van Dijk - 7.5/10

It was an intense game of football, so even Van Dijk looked a bit nervous. But, for the most part, the centre-back stood up and led from the front.

Despite the fact that Van Dijk was up against the likes of Raheem Sterling, Phil Foden, Bernardo Silva, De Bruyne and Jesus, he stood his ground.

Andy Robertson - 7/10

Robertson played a really important pass in the build up to Liverpool's first goal of the match. He was reasonably quiet after that.

Despite that being the case, Robertson did not do much wrong against the Citizens.

Fabinho - 6/10

Fabinho certainly had one of his poorer games of the season. The Brazil international registered a WhoScored player rating of 6.23, which backs up the aforementioned argument.

Fabinho just couldn't impose himself on the match. The holding midfielder didn't offer the back four too much protection, especially in the first-half.

Thiago Alcantara - 7/10

Thiago was decent against Manchester City. The midfielder looked to get on the ball and make things happen.

Thiago was also aggressive without possession.

Jordan Henderson - 6.5/10

Henderson offered very little with the ball at his feet against the Citizens. But, you can't question his commitment to the cause.

Henderson pressed all day and kept the Manchester City players honest.

Mohamed Salah - 7/10

Salah did not find the back of the net against Manchester City. However, the forward offered a threat all day.

Salah also registered an assist directly after half-time.

Sadio Mane - 7.5/10

Mane had a quiet first-half. However, the winger turned things around after the break.

Mane found the back of the net to ensure that Liverpool left Manchester with at least a point.

Diogo Jota - 6.5/10

Jota did not have the greatest of games. The striker's link-up play was average.

But, Jota did get Liverpool level after De Bruyne gave Manchester City the quick start. What we will say is that the man certainly knows how to score, even when he is not at his best.

Jota has found the back of the net 21 times in 42 appearances for Liverpool this season.

Substitutes

Luis Diaz - 7/10

Diaz was introduced 70 minutes into the clash and looked lively. The Manchester City defence appeared to be struggling with the Colombia international's pace.

Naby Keita - 6.5/10

Keita was brought on 77 minutes into the match, but, he had no real impact.

Roberto Firmino - 6/10

Firmino was only given six minutes to make his mark. Therefore, we can't really say too much about the Brazil international.
