Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has previewed the Reds' Champions League group stage fixture against Rangers.

The Premier League side will face the Glasgow-based team at the Ibrox Stadium tonight.

During his pre-match press conference, Klopp implied that he is expecting a hostile atmosphere.

He told the club's official website the following: "I watched I don't know how many Old Firms. OK, only on television. But when still both fan groups were allowed, love this game atmosphere-wise.

"I think most of the stadiums where I come first time I have never been as a supporter and watched a game. But I'm pretty sure I know.

"Andy Robertson played here with Dundee United. Was then the atmosphere as well that outstanding? It's just always you switch a light on and Ibrox is flying, is that the case? Wow, that's special.

"Even when you play bad?! (Laughs) No, didn't speak to him about it yet."

Anfield Watch Verdict

Liverpool defeated Rangers 2-0 at Anfield last week. Trent Alexander-Arnold and Mohamed Salah found the back of the net on the night. The Reds were pretty dominant for majority of the match.

However, tonight's clash will not be a walk in the park for Liverpool. The Rangers supporters will be well and truly up for the game.

An early Liverpool goal will certainly silence the crowd. The Reds possess enough quality in attack to hurt Rangers (Salah, Darwin Nunez, Roberto Firmino and Diogo Jota).

We wish Klopp's team all the best ahead of this huge fixture. Only time will tell if Liverpool are to secure the three points.
