The six Liverpool stars included in EA Sports FC 24 top-rated Premier League players

More player ratings have been released for the hotly anticipated EA Sports FC 24.

In case you've been living under a rock, FC 24 will mark the first rebranded version of EA's video game franchise (formerly known as FIFA) since the company failed to agree a licensing deal with football's governing body.

Don't worry though, the name may be different, but pretty much everything else appears to be unchanged, with thousands of clubs, players, leagues and stadiums etc all agreeing their own licensing deals with EA.

And, like with the old FIFA games, among the most anticipated things about FC 24 are the player ratings.

Recently it was revealed that three Liverpool players made it onto the top 24 rated (top 12 for male players) list for the game. Now EA have released a list of the top 24 rated Premier League stars.

A total of six Reds make the top-rated list, with Alisson, Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk (all 89) obvious inclusions.

Full back duo Andy Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold have both been given 86 ratings, while – perhaps surprisingly – Diogo Jota is the final Liverpool star included on 85.

While fans will only have to wait until Friday, 15 September for the full release of player ratings, there have been leaks which suggest a poor 2022/23 season will have a negative impact on how Liverpool's team stacks up.

Eagled-eyed fans who watched EA's Career Mode deep dive trailer back in August spotted the Liverpool squad on display – with precious few Reds receiving any kind of upgrade.

EA Sports FC 24 will be released in the UK on Friday, 29 September.
