Lazio are interested in signing Liverpool forward Divock Origi this month, according to Il Tempo, as cited by The Anfield Buzz's Twitter account.

The report states that the Serie A club are preparing to make a move for the 26-year-old. The report further adds that the Reds are willing to sell Origi.

The Belgium international's contract expires at the conclusion of the current season. Origi possesses a current market value of €12 million.

Anfield Watch Verdict

We don't want to see Liverpool sell Origi this month. The reality is, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane are currently away on international duty (AFCON).

The Reds will be without both wingers for around a month. Therefore, Origi's services will be required throughout January.

Origi is a handy player. The forward has scored 40 goals and registered 16 assists in 167 appearances for Liverpool's first-team.

We are confident that Origi will be able to lead Liverpool's line (providing he stays) while both Salah and Mane are away on international duty.
