If it wasn't for the aforementioned three stars, he'd be a shoe in for the Player of the Season award. However, Gravenberch will have to make do with the most improved award.

It has been a massive transformation for the 22-year-old. Under Jurgen Klopp last season, it wasn't really clear what his position would be.

But under Arne Slot, Gravenberch has found a new lease of life. Asked to play in a deeper role, he has thrived in Slot's system and has probably become the best holding midfielder in the Premier League, if not the world.

Considering just how young he is, it's an exciting prospect to see him continue his development at Liverpool.

And it also looks like another Gravenberch is hoping to follow in his footsteps soon.

One thing to know about Ryan Gravenberch is that football runs in his family. His older brother Danzell Gravenberch also came through the Ajax youth academy.

Now 31 years old, Danzell has played for the likes of Reading and Sparta Rotterdam over the years, playing in the Eredivisie and the second tier of Dutch football as well.

Internationally, unlike the Liverpool midfielder, Danzell represents Suriname, where he has made one international appearance to date.

While at Ajax, the two brothers actually came up against each other as well and now it seems like another Gravenberch union could be in the cards in the future.

Ajax have announced that Danzell's son, Yael, has signed his first contract with the Dutch club in what is a landmark moment for the Gravenberch family.

It means that three players have now represented the club at youth level. To celebrate the special occasion, Ryan Gravenberch flew out to Amsterdam and was there to witness his nephew penning his new contract.

The occasion was a huge one for the whole Gravenberch family with everyone full of smiles. The Liverpool midfielder looked particularly delighted flashing a cheesy grin at the cameras.

It's a mega deal because this type of thing doesn't really happen often. It feels like the Gravenberch family are building a dynasty at Ajax.

They will be hoping for even more celebrations this week with Liverpool having the chance to confirm their Premier League title victory.

For that occasion, Ryan Gravenberch will undoubtedly be joined by his family in England in order to celebrate the special moment.

Football is clearly in his veins and Liverpool will hope Ryan will stay at the club for many years to come.

When he does hang up his boots, perhaps, Yael could come to take his place and continue the cycle.
