Ryan Gravenberch admits he doesn't know if he'll remain at Bayern Munich beyond the end of the summer transfer window, amid interest from Liverpool.

The Netherlands international has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League this summer, with Manchester United also believed to be in the race for his signature. Bayern are short of options in defensive midfield, but with manager Thomas Tuchel admitting that the 21-year-old is better suited to a more advanced role, it has been reported by some that he will not stand in Gravenberch's way if a suitable offer arrives.

The Bavarian giants have secured two successive wins to get their 2023/24 Bundesliga campaign off to a flying start, but Gravenberch has struggled to get game time under his belt, playing just nine minutes in their 3-1 win against Augsburg on Sunday.

Speaking to German publication BILD after the game, he said simply (via Bulinews.com): "I don't know what will happen in the next days."

Gravenberch is clearly not an indispensable asset for Tuchel and could emerge as a realistic option for Liverpool, who are seeking a 'multi-functional midfielder' in the last days of the transfer window.

He could be well within Liverpool's price range, with Mirror Football recently reporting that his asking has been set at just £22m. Furthermore, being an Under-21 player, the Reds don't need to register the midfielder as part of their Premier League squad if he signs for the club, giving them more wiggle room in the transfer market to sign a non-homegrown player.

However, if Bayern decide to part ways with the 21-year-old, Liverpool will have to fend off interest from Manchester United for his signature. According to German journalist Christian Falk, a loan swap deal between Gravenberch and Scott McTominay has been discussed between the two clubs, with Bayern looking to add a more defensive-minded midfielder player to their squad before Friday's deadline.
