David Moyes explains what makes Mo Salah so good
West Ham United manager David Moyes has said that Mohamed Salah's ability to speed up and slow down his quickness of play is what makes him one of the most lethal attackers in the game.
The Egyptian is having a stellar season so far and is very much in contention to win another Golden Boot in the Premier League.
Indeed, he'll be looking for major honours once again with Liverpool this season, too, as his performances simply deserve such awards.
It remains to be seen if he gets them, of course, but he has earned praise from former Everton boss Moyes who has said that Salah's ability to speed up and slow down is what makes him such a brilliant, potent attacking threat.
“Sometimes you need to slow down, slow the speed that you play at. There’s nobody better at that than Mo Salah, who can go as fast as you like but can slow you down in the box and beat you very quickly," Moyes said to the Liverpool Echo.
Anfield Watch Verdict
Salah must pose huge headaches to every Premier League manager who has to devise a plan to try and stop him at a weekend.
So far, few have been successful in that aim, and that is testament to Salah's ability and consistency at the highest level.
He makes the game look impossibly easy when the ball is at his feet and sometimes rival managers must just sit back and have to applaud what he does.
