One player who is already destined to be on his way out is Trent Alexander-Arnold.

But he is not the only player who could leave. It remains to be seen what the future holds for Virgil van Dijk and Mo Salah, who both have expiring contracts at the end of the season.

Meanwhile Anfield Watch exclusively revealed that there could be an overhaul in Liverpool's attack as well with Darwin Nunez, Luis Diaz and Diogo Jota all up for sale.

And there may even be departures in midfield as well.

Richard Hughes gets green light for Wataru Endo swap deal

According to a report by Bild in Germany, Eintracht Frankfurt are looking to sign Wataru Endo this summer. The Liverpool midfielder is seen as a perfect addition, having excelled in the Bundesliga in the past.

Endo is a valuable member of the Liverpool first team squad but the Reds will not stand in his way should he wish to go.

There is no denying that in an ideal world Liverpool would like to add a player in the holding midfield department who is more suited to Arne Slot's style of play.

And Frankfurt's interest in Endo pretty much gives the green light for Hughes to pursue a move of that kind.

Because if Frankfurt bring in Endo, it would almost guarantee that they are open to letting Hugo Larsson leave this summer.

The Swedish international is a more robust and physically capable version of Endo, who can play as a holding midfielder and shares a lot of similar traits to Ryan Gravenberch.

He's also heavily linked with a move to Anfield.

So, if Frankfurt want Endo and Liverpool want Larsson this is a move that makes the most perfect sense for both parties.

Frankfurt will be reluctant to let such a prized asset go but they will be more open to it if they get a ready made replacement like Endo in return.

Liverpool meanwhile could get Larsson for a decent price by throwing Endo into the deal.

Obviously, it's not set in stone yet but based on these reports, this is a deal worth keeping an eye on. It would be a remarkable piece of business by Hughes to get it over the line.
