Liverpool eye Bowen & Raphinha as Origi could face summer exit
Liverpool reporter for the Liverpool Echo, Paul Gorst, has revealed that the Reds are scouting for a new forward at the moment with Raphinha and Jarrod Bowen on the shortlist, with current attacker Divock Origi facing a potential summer exit.
The Reds had a quiet window at the beginning of this season and they are expected to have another pretty unspectacular market this January, with business in the winter not something the club often gets involved with.
However, many are suggesting that the coming summer window could be a busier one for the Reds with a seemingly growing need for fresh blood to come in and help rejuvenate a slightly aging squad.
That said, Paul Gorst writes for the Liverpool Echo that Raphinha and Bowen are on the radar, whilst Origi could be heading for a departure:
Anfield Watch Verdict
Both Bowen and Raphinha would be potential hits if they joined the Reds in the summer transfer window as they seem the sort of players that the club likes to get hold of to try and mould into world leading stars.
As for Origi, it seems not a transfer window goes past where he is not being linked with a move away and this summer coming could be the one where that finally happens.
He's provided more famous moments this season in coming on from the bench but he surely wants to be a leading man somewhere and that just will not be the case at Liverpool.
Certainly, an exciting summer could await.
