Liverpool linked with Arnaut Danjuma offer worth around £40m
A report from Spanish outlet Fichajes is claiming that Liverpool are preparing a bid worth nearly £40m to try and sign Villarreal attacker Arnaut Danjuma in the near future.
Danjuma is a player that is on a real upward trajectory and in that sense you can see why the Reds might be interested.
Liverpool like to sign players before they become leading stars and with Danjuma moving from Bournemouth to La Liga and keeping up his levels of performance, it's clear he is a player that seems to be heading in the right direction.
According to the report, then, Liverpool want to make Danjuma their next big attacking signing for £38m exactly, with the likes of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Diogo Jota currently seeming to be the established front free at the club.
Danjuma would have his work cut out initially to try and get into the starting XI if he joined, then, but football is all about challenging yourself and he'd surely relish the opportunity to try and do so.
Anfield Watch Verdict
Danjuma isn't the first winger to be linked with Liverpool and he certainly will not be the last.
Clearly, Villarreal think highly of him and it's clear his performances during the last few months have attracted some very big names to be watching him closely.
Ultimately, the player needs to make the best decision for his career and we'll soon see what that happens to be.
