"Really like watching" - Ronaldinho on Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool

Former Barcelona forward Ronaldinho has waxed lyrical about Liverpool's attack.

The Reds are a very watchable side at the moment. Liverpool scored 94 goals in 38 Premier League fixtures last season.

Therefore, we weren't surprised to hear Ronaldinho state that he enjoys watching Jurgen Klopp's attacking players.

“It’s hard (to choose just one team), there are many. I really like a lot of players from many clubs,” he told JOE.

“It is hard to choose just one. I think each club has a great player that I like watching, but I think the attacking players for Liverpool are the players that I currently really like watching.”

Anfield Watch Verdict

It is always nice to hear a legend of the game praise an aspect of your club. There is no denying that Klopp has transformed Liverpool into one of the best teams in the world.

Before the 54-year-old arrived at Anfield back in 2015, the Reds had not won a trophy since 2012 (League Cup).

Liverpool have won the Champions League, Super Cup, FIFA Club World Cup, Premier League title, League Cup and FA Cup with Klopp at the helm.

The German still possesses a team which is capable of adding to the aforementioned achievements. The side is still quite young (average age of 26.5).

So, Klopp's team is far from finished, which is obviously exciting.

The 2022-23 Premier League campaign will kick-off in early August. The full fixture list for the season will be released at 9am BST on June 16.

Hopefully Liverpool can have a big pre-season and hit the ground running when August comes around. But, only time will tell if that is to be the case.
