Premier League clubs send scouts to watch Liverpool target Andre
Scouts from 'several' Premier League clubs will be in attendance to watch Andre Trindade in next month's Copa Libertadores final.
22-year-old Andre has been a target for Liverpool since the summer, when the Reds saw an enquiry for the midfielder knocked back by Fluminense.
The Reds viewed the one-cap Brazil international as a potential long-term solution to the 'number six' position, but Fluminense refused to entertain a sale until the end of their season this winter.
The Rio-based club have since made it all the way to the final of the Copa Libertadores (South America's equivalent of the Champions League) and will take on Boca Juniors for a chance at a first continental title in their history on 4 November.

Football Transfers reports that several clubs from England's top flight "will send their head scouts" to watch the showpiece game at the Maracana, with other talent "such as Valentin Barco, John Kennedy, Ezequiel Fernandez, and Alexsander" also being monitored.
Though no club is specifically named by the report with regard to the scouting mission, Arsenal, West Ham and Fulham have all been credited with interest in Andre in recent weeks and months.
However, Anfield Watch understands that the Reds will have priority for a January transfer if they are interested, having already agreed personal terms.Liverpool considered activating Andre's release clause to push through a deal as they underwent a midfield rebuild during the summer, but held back out of respect for Fluminense's desire to keep their star player in order to have the best possible shot at winning the Copa Libertadores.

As a result, the Brazilian club maintain a good relationship with Liverpool and are willing to give the Anfield club favourable terms come January and priority over other suitors.
Liverpool's scouts were present at Fluminense's semi-final win over Internacional, despite the arrival of four midfielders at Anfield in the summer window.
Meanwhile, Andre remains hopeful of a move to Liverpool this January when the window re-opens.
