Predicted Liverpool lineup vs Watford as Reds look to go top of the Premier League

Liverpool face off against Watford at Anfield on Saturday and here is our predicted lineup for the crucial Premier League game.

With Jurgen Klopp's side kicking off at 12:30pm on Saturday, if they get three points then they'll temporarily go top of the league until Manchester City play their game against Burnley.

The Reds will be hoping to get three points from a relegation-threatened Watford, who are now managed by former Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson.

With pretty much everyone coming back from international duty fit and ready to go, here is our predicted lineup for tomorrow's game.

Alisson

Alisson featured in both of Brazil's 4-0 victories during international duty as Manchester City's Ederson pulled out at the last minute.

The Brazilian comes back with two clean sheets and even more confidence than when he left Merseyside. Even though Caoimhin Kelleher played two games for Ireland during the break, Ali has to play every game he's available for until the end of the season.

Joe Gomez

With Trent Alexander-Arnold out, I'm expecting Joe Gomez to start at right-back. The Englishman did well against Nottingham Forest so Klopp will trust him.

Joel Matip

Joel Matip had a full two weeks rest so he'll definitely be starting this game.

Virgil van Dijk

Virgil van Dijk starts every game that he is fit for the rest of the season.

Andy Robertson

Despite missing Scotland's first game in the most recent international break, Andy Robertson played 58 minutes in their last fixture against Austria.

Klopp confirmed that he is fine to play so I'm expecting to see him lineup in red on Saturday.

Fabinho

Fabinho featured in both of Brazil's games during the international break but similar to Virgil, he has to start if he's fit.

Thiago

Thiago didn't get called up for the most recent Spainish squad so he had a full two weeks rest and he definitely needed it.

The Spaniard offers something that no one else does and him being fit for the final few months of the season is going to be so important.

Jordan Henderson

Jordan Henderson was the only Liverpool player who ended up playing for England during the break but with Naby Keita injured, I suspect Klopp will play his skipper, even if he isn't completely fresh.

Sadio Mane

After a successful international break with Senegal, Sadio Mane will be desperate to now help Liverpool win as many games as possible.

I have a feeling that the Sadio we're about to see during the next few months is going to be the best version we've ever seen.

Roberto Firmino

The only forward player who didn't get selected for international duty, if you don't count Divock Origi who is basically leaving, was Roberto Firmino.

Bobby has been class for the past few games and when he's came on he has offered us something different. He's also had two weeks rest so I think Jurgen will start him. The Brazilian also loves a goal against Watford.

Mohamed Salah

Even though Mohamed Salah will be hurting on the inside after Egypt failed to qualify for the 2022 World Cup, Klopp will want the Egyptian back to his absolute best for the final games of the season.

One way to do that is just play him into form. We've seen it before with Salah and it seems to work. So hopefully he can score against Watford and we start to see the Mo from the start of the season.
