Predicted Liverpool lineup vs Brighton and Hove Albion

Liverpool face off against Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday and here is our predicted lineup for the game.

With Liverpool still on the hunt for the Premier League title this season, a win against Graham Potter's Brighton side will be crucial.

Manchester City have not let up in recent weeks so Liverpool have to match this relentless standard.

Luckily, the Reds currently don't have any injuries and Roberto Firmino has been declared fit to play by Jurgen Klopp.

With that in mind, here is our predicted Liverpool lineup that will face Brighton on Saturday.

Alisson

As much as we love Caiomhin Kelleher, Alisson has done nothing wrong to be dropped, so he starts between the sticks.

Trent Alexander-Arnold

Trent Alexander-Arnold is probably Liverpool's most important player at the moment.

The Scouser has 11 assists in the Premier League and he will be a key component in Liverpool's title push.

Joel Matip

Joel Matip won February's Premier League Player of the Month award today, the first defender to win it since Trent won it in November.

With Ibrahima Konate still potentially not fully fit from the knock he picked up before the Inter Milan game, Matip has to start.

Virgil van Dijk

While Virgil van Dijk is fit he starts.

Andy Robertson

Despite some solid performances from Kostas Tsimikas when he has played, Andy Robertson is still ahead of the Greek international on the teamsheet.

Fabinho

I mean, Fabinho, he's the best defensive midfielder in the league. If Liverpool want to win the Premier League then he has to be starting every game possible.

Harvey Elliott

Harvey Elliott has only featured once this month and that was a 45 minute cameo against Norwich in the FA Cup.

I'm more hopeful than anything that Klopp will select the 18-year-old because he's exciting to watch. Also, with the number of games coming up, some of the more senior players could do with a rest.

Thiago Alcantara

Thiago Alcantara only played 65 minutes against Inter Milan on Tuesday, so if he's fit I expect Klopp to select him in the midfield three.

Mohamed Salah

Even though Mohamed Salah hasn't been in his usual form of late, the Egyptian is still the best player in the world and when you're pushing for a title, you need your best players starting.

Sadio Mane

When Sadio Mane has played up front this season he has looked very impressive and after a poor performance on the left wing against Milan, I can see Jurgen going back to playing Mane up top.

Luis Diaz

I think we're going to start seeing a lot more of Luis Diaz for the remainder of the season. Diogo Jota seems to have fallen off a bit ever since he returned from his injury and Diaz has shined whenever he has featured.

Hopefully, the Colombian can bag his second Premier League goal against the Seagulls tomorrow!
