Liverpool assistant manager Pep Lijnders has said that the prospect of reaching Wembley and creating memories is an inspiring one ahead of the clash with Arsenal tomorrow night.

It's a winner takes all clash at the Emirates on Thursday evening as the Reds take on the Gunners knowing that they simply need to outscore Arsenal to seal a spot in the EFL Cup final, which takes place in February against Chelsea.

Indeed, it's a big game and Lijnders has discussed the prospect of being part of the side that could head back to Wembley:

Anfield Watch Verdict

It's been too long for a club like Liverpool to have not been at Wembley in recent years and so hopefully that can change following tomorrow night's result.

Arsenal will have their own plans, though, and so the Reds must meet the challenge.

It should be a great game, and one that could go either way.
