Borussia Dortmund midfielder and reported Liverpool target Jude Bellingham has opened up on his career aspirations.

The England international has revealed that he would like to have won several trophies by the time his career comes to an end.

Bellingham further added that money is not a motivator for him.

As quoted by Anfield Watch's Twitter account, he told the BVB podcast the following: "You can have all the money you want from playing football and you can buy whatever you want, but being appreciated like that for creating so many memories for so many people.

"Winning the league, however many cups and winning the Champions League - that lives longer than any car you could buy or any house you could buy.

"That's the thing that motivates me to create memories in football that I will remember forever and other people will remember forever."

Anfield Watch Verdict

Bellingham is a serious talent. The 19-year-old midfielder is beyond his years.

Bellingham has scored 10 goals and registered 18 assists in 90 appearances for Borussia Dortmund's first-team.

The England international also averaged a WhoScored player rating of 7.12 across the 2021-22 campaign.

Bellingham could represent Liverpool for at least a decade.

In regards to the midfielder's aspirations, the club would be able to meet them. Liverpool have won the Champions League, Super Cup, FIFA Club World Cup, Premier League title, League Cup and FA Cup since 2019.

The Reds even competed for the quadruple last season. So, we strongly believe that Bellingham and Liverpool would be a match made in heaven.

However, the youngster won't come cheap. Bellingham is contracted until June 2025 and he possesses a current market value of £72 million.
