Mohamed Salah's agent hits out at journalist who made Kylian Mbappe claim
Ramy Abbas Issa, the agent of Mohamed Salah, has hit back at journalist Santi Aouna regarding an old social media post.
Writing for Foot Mercato, Santi Aouna recently broke the news that Kylian Mbappe would be joining Real Madrid in the summer transfer window.
However, recent reports have suggested that no decision regarding Mbappe's future has been made yet, with the Frenchman still potentially open to a move to the Premier League - contrary to Aouna's claim.
The World Cup winner has been linked with a move to Liverpool in recent seasons, although a switch to Anfield looks incredibly unlikely.
Just to add more confusion to the saga, Salah's agent has responded to an old post made by Aouna on X (formerly Twitter), undermining the journalist's credentials.
The post in question was put out by Aouna in March 2023 and claimed that Salah was open to a move away from Liverpool in last summer's transfer window, with Spain his preference should he leave Anfield.
On 8 January 2024, Ramy Abbas commented on the post, saying: "You just don't know."
Salah's agent may be suggesting that Aouna's Mbappe intel is actually false, which would come as good news to Liverpool supporters dreaming of a remarkable move for the French forward.
Ramy Abbas has never been shy of sharing his opinions online in the past, occasionally taking to social media to refute claims regarding his client.
Hopefully, Ramy Abass' response also suggests that Salah isn't looking for a Liverpool exit this summer either.
