Mo Salah revealed his TRUE feelings on moving to Saudi Arabia
Arne Slot has enjoyed a phenomenal start to life at Liverpool, but it hasn’t been all positive for the Reds since the Dutchman arrived.
Liverpool currently sit top of the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League and have only lost one match all season, but an off-pitch issue has been looming at Anfield for some time.

Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold, arguably the Reds’ three best players, are all out of contract at the end of the season and could leave Anfield for free.
The future isn’t certain for any of the trio but there has been strong interest from Saudi Arabia in Salah over the past few seasons.
This interest came to a head in 2023 when Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad saw a bid of over £100 million rejected for the Egyptian King.
Come the summer, Saudi Pro League sides may have another opportunity to sign the legendary forward, and Salah has spoken openly about a move to Saudi Arabia before.
Salah admitted he was open to a Saudi Arabia move
Although there have been doubts about how interested Salah would be in a move to the SPL at this stage in his career, he did once admit he would ‘definitely agree’ to playing in Saudi Arabia.
In an interview with Sport360 back in 2016, when the Egyptian represented AS Roma, Salah admitted he’d be open to a future move to the SPL.

The Saudi Pro League has seemed the likely destination for Salah if he does leave Merseyside for a while, but the 32-year-old may not be ready for that move yet.
The somewhat turbulent careers of Salah’s ex-teammates Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane in Saudi Arabia may have discouraged him from a move away from Europe at this stage.
Salah’s future
Although Salah has previously admitted his openness to a move to Saudi Arabia, that may not materialise this summer. PSG remain interested in the forward and there is still a chance he could remain at Liverpool.
The Reds will be desperate to keep hold of their talisman, who has already scored 17 goals and provided a further 13 assists in just 18 Premier League games this season.
The Egyptian King is the best player in world football right now and will no doubt have plenty of suitors should he leave Anfield, but only time will tell where Salah’s future holds.
