Mohamed Salah appears to have confirmed his future as talk continues around a move to Saudi Arabia this summer.

There has been a lot of talk surrounding Mohamed Salah's future this summer. After all, it's not exactly a secret that the Saudi Pro League wants him on board.

Liverpool received an offer right before the start of the season but rejected it. There's now every expectation that they'll be back and while the offer might not be quite as big (Salah only has one year left on his contract), it's one that could tempt the club - and the player.

Per the Guardian, Salah is one of the very top targets for the Saudi league this summer. Alisson Becker actually joins him in that.

But it sounds as though the Egyptian is staying. That's certainly what his latest social media post sounds like.

"We know that trophies are what count and we will do everything possible to make that happen next season,” Salah wrote on Twitter/X last night. "Our fans deserve it and we will fight like hell."

Salah's form unquestionably dropped over the second half of the season - but that shouldn't make anyone forget just how good he was pre-AFCON. The winger scored 18 in the Premier League, assisting another 10.

That's remarkably close to his figures in the title-winning season. Salah got 19 and 10 that year - and in 300 more minutes.

The idea that he's in a massive decline, then, should really be put to bed for now. It wasn't long ago at all that he looked like one of the world's best players and we have every expectation that the summer will rejuvenate Salah.

And if that's the case, Liverpool really shouldn't consider selling him for even a massive amount - especially as it sounds as though he wants to remain at Anfield.
