Liverpool's Mohamed Salah has missed the Reds' most recent training session ahead of the Arsenal game, casting doubts on his fitness for the crucial fixture.

Mo Salah was substituted against Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday after he picked up a knock blocking the ball.

The Egyptian walked off the pitch and we know that Liverpool take no risks when it comes to injuries, especially to their star players, so fans were hopeful that it wasn't anything serious.

However, in today's training photos ahead of the Arsenal game on Wednesday, Salah was not pictured with the rest of the squad, according to the Liverpool Echo, as cited by Anfield Watch.

James Milner and Kostas Tsimikas were also absent from today's training session.

Luckily, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Divock Origi and Takumi Minamino, who all failed to make the matchday squad at Brighton, were all pictured taking part in today's session.

Anfield Watch Verdict

Mo Salah is going to be a massive miss if he is injured for Wednesday's game against Arsenal.

The Liverpool forward currently has 20 goals and 10 assists in the Premier League this season and missing those numbers will have a huge impact on the upcoming fixture.

Fortunately for Liverpool, every other forward is currently fit and ready to go when called upon.

Despite having a shaky few games after coming back from injury, Diogo Jota is fully fit for the game and since joining Liverpool, he has scored six goals in five games against Arsenal for the Reds.

Roberto Firmino is also no stranger to scoring a few goals against the Gunners. The Brazilian has eight goals and three assists against Arsenal.

Hopefully, the Reds can produce a similar result to the last time we faced Mikel Arteta's side in the league, which ended 4-0 at Anfield!
