Mo Salah vs Sergio Ramos: The inside story and the agony, by his family
Just what does Mo Salah think of Sergio Ramos? The Spaniard gave Salah his lowest moment in football.
That came in the 2018 UEFA Champions League final. Salah had enjoyed a remarkable debut campaign with Liverpool, thriving in Jurgen Klopp's system.

He went into the Champions League final - Liverpool's first in 11 years - as the one to watch for the Reds. Only, he didn't last all that long.
An incident with Ramos left Salah injured and unable to continue. In fact, the winger lasted just 30 minutes in the biggest fixture of his life.
The match was actually 0-0 at that point but Salah's injury made Real Madrid massive favourites. They'd eventually see out a 3-1 win (though, they had a lot of help getting there).
Ramos was immediately painted as the villain of the piece, the one who cost Salah his big moment. But is that the 'hero's' feeling?
Mo Salah's sister on Ramos
Rabab Salah, sister of Mo, recently gave an interview to ONSport FM in Egypt. She talked plenty about her brother and life behind the scenes.
One natural topic of conversation was Ramos and whether Salah holds a grudge there. Rabab, though, was adamant that it isn't the case.
"I called him [after that final] and said, 'The most important thing is, are you okay?" This injury thing gives me urticaria," she said. "When Salah leaves the match, I have to keep calling until he answers.
"So when he answers me, I ask him, "Are you okay?" and he says, "Yes, I'm okay," then I tell him, "Thank God. This is the most important thing."
But what about Ramos? Are there hard feelings there?
"Look, I don't think it was personal; I don't know," said Rabab. "Egyptians think it was personal because of their love for Salah."
The interviewer then asked if Salah ever talks about Ramos in a negative way.
"Not at all, I swear," said Raba. "I could say, "Yes, he meant it," but Salah says he didn't. Mohamed takes things lightly and does not make them too personal."
So that's that, really. Salah doesn't hold a grudge, even if his supporters very much do.
