Mo Salah first to goalscoring milestone; shows his dominance

Mo Salah became the first to a goalscoring milestone on Saturday with his goal against Arsenal at Anfield. It shows off just how dominant the Egyptian has been.

When Mo Salah equalised for Liverpool on Saturday, he registered his 10th goal against Arsenal in the Premier League. The Egyptian has been a thorn in their side since arriving at Anfield back in 2017.

But then, Salah has been a thorn in everyone's side. With that goal, he's now had at least 10 goals against Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City.

He's the first player in the Premier League era to hit that mark - and it's a true sign of his dominance over the years. After all, those three teams are the only non-Liverpool teams to challenge for the title since the Reds signed Salah.

That's one of the incredible things about Salah, though. He doesn't simply bag his goals against the teams at the bottom of the Premier League but he's arguably an even bigger threat against teams at the top.

Across all competitions, Salah has more goals against United than any other team for Liverpool. City are joint-second along with Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United. Then come Arsenal.

It's an amazing selection - and difficult to pick better clubs to score the goals against.

Now, to be fair, his records against City and Spurs aren't as good as against United and Arsenal because of the number of games played. 13 fixtures against United have brought 12 goals - 20 fixtures against City have brought 11.

But few players can boast a record better than one-in-two against Pep Guardiola's side. It's easy to imagine no one else does, in fact - and that's without counting his six assists.

Yet another example of Salah's brilliance, then. Liverpool boast an all-time great in their ranks and he's showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
