Carvalho was very impressive for Fulham last season. The attacking midfielder scored 10 goals and registered eight assists in 36 Championship appearances.
Carvalho also averaged a WhoScored player rating of 7.12 during the aforementioned campaign.
After Fulham defeated Millwall 2-1 last season, Marco Silva implied that the youngster has a very bright future ahead of him.
“Carvalho was fantastic. It is something he has been doing since pre-season," the Fulham boss said back in August 2021.
“He started well against Boro (Middlesbrough), but it is not just him. I see the team playing better achieving better things and becoming more confident and consistent.
“But he was fantastic in the second half, he was fresh, and it wasn’t just with the ball as well, he did everything we asked him to do, but he is 18 and still learning as a player.
“It is up to me to give him the right information and important for him to keep his feet on the floor as it is long journey for him.”
Enough people with credibility have stated that Carvalho is going to be a special player. And, from what we have seen, they appear to be right.
So, we look forward to watching Carvalho develop under the watchful eye of Klopp. We wish the youngster all the very best ahead of his debut campaign at Anfield.
