Journalist Ryan Taylor has confirmed that Liverpool are keeping a close eye on Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham.

The Reds have been linked with a move for the England international for quite some time.

Taylor has stated that Bellingham is the "main name in the frame" for the Reds.

He said on his YouTube channel (11:51): “Jude Bellingham is the main name in the frame, we expect him to leave Borussia Dortmund next summer. (Erling) Haaland’s move to Manchester City means that he’s unlikely to depart Dortmund this year as they don’t want to keep losing multiple big players in one transfer window.

“I do think that Liverpool will look at the market to see if there are any options that tickle their fancy, but they don’t make signings unless they are 100 per cent set and Jurgen Klopp approves it as well.”

Anfield Watch Verdict

Bellingham is a world-class talent. The midfielder has scored six goals and registered 14 assists in 44 appearances for Borussia Dortmund's first-team.

Bellingham averaged a WhoScored player rating of 7.12 across the 2021-22 Bundesliga campaign (32 appearances).

Also, he is only 19 years of age. It's scary to think that Bellingham has already made an impact at senior level.

Who knows how good the England international could become. Bellingham is contracted until the conclusion of the 2024-25 campaign.

He possesses a current market value of £72 million. So, Bellingham won't come cheap.

But, the youngster would be worth every penny. The man could play in Liverpool's midfield for a good decade.

Only time will tell if the Reds and Bellingham are to cross paths.
