Liverpool's next five Premier League games compared to Manchester City
After fighting back to beat Fulham in their League Cup semi-final first leg on Wednesday, Liverpool have been handed a rare reprieve in the fixture calendar.
As first agreed in 2018, the Premier League have implemented a winter break of sorts into the calendar to lessen the physical burden on players, with gameweek 21 being played across two weekends.
A weekend off means the Reds are back in Premier League action next Sunday, as they travel to AFC Bournemouth with the hopes of keeping up their winning form.
Liverpool are currently top of the league by two points, but it could have been more had Manchester City not completed an impressive 3-2 comeback win over Newcastle United on Saturday evening.
Putting the pressure on top spot, the next few games could prove pivotal in the title race, with the January-February period being notorious for mid-season blips.
Here are Liverpool's next five games compared to seemingly their closest title rivals, Manchester City.
