Liverpool's Luis Diaz successor runs from HALFWAY LINE to score wonder goal
Liverpool are watching Jamie Gittens closely and will love what they see. The Borussia Dortmund star has produced absolute magic.
Sky Germany reports that Liverpool are one of a few Premier League clubs eager to sign Jamie Gittens. The 20-year-old has seven goals and three assists this season in what's beginning to feel like a breakout campaign.

After all, Gittens only turned 20 in August.
The report suggests that Gittens is eager to return to English football at some point, viewing the Premier League as his long-term destination. It's a mentality that has the likes of Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea and Arsenal on red alert.
That doesn't mean he's off there anytime soon, of course, but teams will try. He's the latest young superstar to come through Dortmund - and the others all went on to fetch incredible fees.
Gittens will be the same.
Gittens scores vs Bayern Munich
Gittens has produced moments of real magic this season but Saturday was something else. With 26 minutes on the clock, the ball was played into the Englishman on halfway and he dummied it expertly to leave Konrad Laimer in his dust.
Gittens then just ran and ran, with no Bayern Munich player able to catch him. A brilliant finish put Dortmund in front and left the winger with all the plaudits - a goal made completely out of nothing.
Luis Diaz out, Gittens in?
Liverpool have apparently lowballed Luis Diaz in contract talks. At least, that's the news coming out of Colombia.
Diaz isn't happy with the Reds' offer, which sparks talk that he could be moved on. His contract expires in 2027, so while we wouldn't expect him to move on in 2025, 2026 is very much an option.
We also expect that to be the year Gittens leaves Dortmund. If Diaz's future truly is in doubt, the youngster could be the Reds' ideal replacement.
