Liverpool's 16-year-old prodigy DAZZLES club legends
Liverpool legends defeated their Chelsea counterparts 2-0 at Anfield on Saturday.
The game was watched by nearly 60,000 fans inside the ground with goals from returning hero Peter Crouch deciding the encounter for the Reds.

Sir Kenny Dalglish was manager for the occasion with club legends including Steven Gerrard, Sami Hyypia and Dirk Kuyt among the players taking part.
Natasha Dowie also became the first female player to take part in a legends game at Anfield, coming on after half an hour.

Reds' youngsters get chance to impress
It was a glorious opportunity for supporters to celebrate the stars of yesterday, with Crouchy even pulling out the infamous Robot celebration one more time.
But the event also gave a unique chance to some of Liverpool’s youngsters to make an impression in front of their idols.
Ahead of the game, the legends trained at the AXA Training Centre and called up a few of the current academy crop to bulk out their session.
DJ Bernard stars alongside Ngumoha
Among those selected were goalkeepers Reece Trueman, 19, and his 16-year-old goalkeeping colleague DJ Bernard.
Bernard’s Liverpool fairytale began when he was first spotted playing grassroots football, moving to the club’s academy at under-13 level after a successful trial.

The shot-stopper was given a first-year scholar contract last summer and has had a place in the U18 squad this term. He is highly regarded around the club and represented England at U15 level alongside the Reds’ teenage sensation Rio Ngumoha.
Liverpool goalkeeper shakeup
“Nice experience for LFC academy goalkeepers DJ Bernard (16) and Reece Trueman (19) who joined the Legends squad for training at the AXA on Friday,” a post on X from Jack Lusby reads.
Liverpool are set for a goalkeeping shakeup in the summer with Giorgi Mamardashvili arriving following his one-year loan spell at Valencia.
He will provide competition for Alisson Becker with Caoimhin Kelleher earmarked to leave and third-choice Vitezslav Jaros out of contract in summer 2025.

There could be opportunities in the years ahead for goalkeepers like DJ Bernard, who has already caught the eye of some of the biggest names in club history.
