In the coming months, Richard Hughes will undertake a mass overhaul during the summer transfer window.

There will be plenty of players who will feel like their time at Anfield has come to an end. For various reasons, some of the club's longest serving members will be looking to move onto pastures new.

Anfield Watch revealed exclusively that there might be a big overhaul in attack. However, the goalkeeping department could also get a completely new look this summer.

And this could see the promotion of an exciting young talent.

EXCLUSIVE: Paris Saint-Germain commit to massive Ibrahima Konate move

Why Kornel Misciur is set for a promotion

According to Czech publication inFotbal, Vitezslav Jaros is set to sign a new deal with Liverpool but he is not going to stay at Anfield next season.

The site claims that he is set to leave on loan with Ligue 1 a likely destination for the young goalkeeper.

This is an interesting development. Jaros going out on loan will undoubtedly have ramifications to the Liverpool squad.

While Giorgi Mamardashvili is set to join the Reds, Caoimhin Kelleher is destined to leave, which means there will be a vacancy for the third choice goalkeeping spot left by Jaros' departure.

It's not necessarily a huge void to fill but it is one that has to be taken into consideration and the most likely solution could see the club's exciting 17-year-old star join the first team.

We are talking about Kornel Misciur of course who has been a regular for the Reds' U21 side this season and who was involved in Liverpool's first team squad during their visit to Brighton in the League Cup earlier this season.

A keeper with a massive frame and brilliant shot-stopping skills, Misciur is a Polish youth international and he joined the club from Hull City.

Earlier this year, Anfield Watch interviewed Lewis Bower, an academy expert, about him and he said there were shades of Alisson in his playing style.

Misciur therefore seems like the natural option to promote as the club's third choice and it could be a huge opportunity for the youngster.
