Liverpool vs Tottenham full-time player ratings: THREE perfect 10's as Reds destroy Spurs
Liverpool eviscerated Tottenham 6-3 in north London.
The Reds have gone four points clear at the top of the Premier League - with a game-in-hand - after Chelsea were held to a 0-0 draw with Everton this afternoon.
In this form Liverpool are the best team in the world and it could have been eight or nine goals if the Reds kept up their intensity.
Here are our player ratings for a magnificent performance:
Alisson Becker - 6
Had basically nothing to do due to Tottenham's performance but his distribution is as good as ever, allowing Liverpool a serious base to build from. Maybe lacking positionally for Maddison's goal.

Trent Alexander-Arnold - 10
Had one of his classic 'untouchable' days, breaking Tottenham's high line consistently with his trademark long passing whilst being a true asset defensively. Managed to find Luis Diaz's head with pinpoint accuracy for the opener and could have had a beauty of his own were it not for a good Forster save.
Joe Gomez - 8
Had to do a lot of positional covering when Alexander-Arnold went forward and did it with aplomb. Was able to push Son Heung-min out of the game with his positioning and tackling ability. His best performance this season.
Virgil van Dijk - 7
Liverpool's captain was as calm and composed as he ever is, but Tottenham's two consolation goals came in-part due to him not going with the runners moving away from him.
Andy Robertson - 7
Has been a welcome addition in his return to the team, with the only exception that Trent Alexander-Arnold made Robertson's crosses look unfortunately average.
Ryan Gravenberch - 9
Gravenberch is the best defensive midfielder in the world right now and this game demonstrated that in its entirety. His ability to read play, intercept passes and drive Liverpool into attack is why this team is as good as they are. What a player, what a gem.
Alexis Mac Allister - 8
A goal for himself, a mistake for Spurs's first and cantering around the pitch pushing the ball into spaces for Liverpool's attackers to exploit. A strange overall day out for the Argentinian but overall a good one.
Dominik Szoboszlai - 10
The Hungarian was anywhere and everywhere throughout this game. Deservedly got his goal to make it 3-1 on the stroke of half-time and was unselfish for Salah to make it 5-1, but somehow it could have been even better had he been able to finish after going through one-on-one with Fraser Forster.
Cody Gakpo - 7
Gakpo was functional in his work today with Liverpool's attacks primarily having more life on the right and through the middle. He carried the ball well and dragged Tottenham's defence all over the place, getting a perfectly-timed pre-assist for Szoboszlai to give Salah the fifth.
Mohamed Salah - 9
Two goals and two assists and it almost felt like Salah was just going through the motions against a poor defence. Exceptional is what we've come to expect of the Egyptian King and exceptional is what he was today.
Luis Diaz - 10
Without Lucho this game is very, very different. Found space behind Tottenham's inexperienced back line time and time again, heading in the opener and making it six with a picture-perfect finish late on. But the timing of his runs struck serious fear into Tottenham throughout and changed the entire game.

Substitutions:
Diogo Jota - 7
Stepped straight into Liverpool's attacking intensity despite coming on after Liverpool decided to lay off the high press. Was a serious display of his pre-injury self, linking play and finding space where it was available to spur on Liverpool attacks.
Curtis Jones - 5
Unfortunately failed to track runners for Tottenham's second and third goals, not communicating with Virgil van Dijk who didn't attack the ball in the way Jones maybe expected.
Darwin Nunez - N/A
Came on too late to reasonably rate.
Harvey Elliott - N/A
Came on too late to reasonably rate.
