Why isn't Liverpool vs Nottingham Forest on TV?

Liverpool take on Nottingham Forest at Anfield this Sunday, looking to end the month of October on a high.

The Reds bounced back strongly after picking up just one point from two games against Tottenham and Brighton prior to the international break, recording a 2-0 Merseyside derby win and trouncing Toulouse 5-1 in the Europa League on Thursday.

The signs are good ahead the weekend, with Jurgen Klopp's side looking strong and Nottingham Forest struggling for form. However, there is one problem... Unless you've got a match ticket, the game is going to be hard to watch.

Fans in the UK will not be able to watch Liverpool vs Nottingham Forest on TV (legally, at least), despite the game's kick-off time falling outside of the Saturday 3pm blackout slot.

The 14:00 BST kick off at Anfield has not been selected for broadcast. Instead, West Ham vs Everton (13:00 BST) is the early game scheduled on Sky Sports, to be followed on the same channel by Manchester United vs Manchester City (15:30 BST).

The absence, once again, of options for UK-based Liverpool fans to watch their team live raises the ongoing debate about the lack of comprehensive coverage of games by broadcasters.

How to watch Liverpool vs Nottingham Forest on TV

As stated, unfortunately for UK viewers, the game has once again not been selected for live broadcast.

However, for fans in other parts of the world the game will be much easier to watch.

For European viewers can find the game available to stream on DAZN.

In the US, the game will be available to stream on Peacock Premium.

Match commentary, highlights and full match replay will be available anywhere in the world on LFCTV GO.

Supporters can of course also wait until after the final whistle to catch the highlights, which will be posted on Liverpool's official YouTube channel.

To keep up with the game, stay tuned to Anfield Watch's social channels, where in-game updates will be provided.
