Liverpool will host Norwich City in the FA Cup Fourth Round on Sunday. Here's our preview ahead of the cup tie.

Liverpool are officially into one cup final after beating Fulham in the Carabao Cup this week. They'll now hope to take a big step towards another in the FA Cup on Sunday.

The Reds will take on Norwich City after knocking out Arsenal in the Third Round. They'll be overwhelming favourites for the tie, of course, as the Canaries sit 8th in the Championship going into this. Liverpool, of course, top the Premier League.

Liverpool vs Norwich head-to-head record

Liverpool and Norwich have met 68 times down the years and it shouldn't shock you to learn that the Reds boast the superior record in this one. By a mile, actually.

They've won 40 of those matches, with Norwich finishing on the winning side just 14 times (with 14 draws). That record is even more impressive at Anfield, as you'd expect - 23 wins out of 34 games. The Canaries have only ever won five times in the away fixture - though, their last win did also come at Anfield.

However, that was back in 1994. Yes, Norwich haven't beaten Liverpool for 30 years.

The Reds are unbeaten in the last 18 fixtures between the two teams and have only drawn two of those. The last draw came in 2015, meaning Liverpool have won seven on the bounce.

Those seven are also the only fixtures Jurgen Klopp has managed against Norwich - he's got a 100% record, in other words.

Liverpool team news

Liverpool welcomed Andy Robertson back to their first-team squad this week as he sat on the bench against Fulham. It appears he's ready to step back onto the pitch, too, with Klopp saying he has a 'completely normal schedule' now.

And the returns don't stop there. Dominik Szoboszlai is back, too, and on that normal schedule. Trent Alexander-Arnold might be fit to play but Klopp wants to check that one. The Scouser may instead return in Liverpool's following game against Chelsea.

Mohamed Salah, Wataru Endo, Thiago Alcantara, Stefan Bajcetic, Ben Doak, Joel Matip and Kostas Tsimikas remain out. Tsimikas will soon return to training, though not in time to face Norwich.

Norwich City team news

It remains to be seen whether Norwich came through their 1-0 defeat at Leeds United unscathed. They will be without defender Danny Batth, though, who is out with a hamstring problem.

More next on them should come out later this week when David Wagner talks to the press.

Liverpool predicted lineup

A very difficult one to predict and Klopp almost certainly rotates quite a bit with Chelsea waiting just three days later. That and a game against lower-league opposition almost certainly brings about changes.

But the boss won't want to change too much - Norwich will beat a heavily weakened side and this is certainly a competition Liverpool want to win. There are also a couple of players who could really use 60 minutes or so ahead of Chelsea - Andy Robertson being the standout.

Score prediction

This one could end up being a bit of a scrape if Liverpool try to win in second gear. They'll certainly have enough firepower on the bench to up to tempo if things do get difficult, though.

And so it's tough to see how the Reds don't find a way to win and a routine one at that. Liverpool are huge favourites - we expect them to show why.
