Arne Slot saw his side run rampant at Tottenham on Sunday, scoring SIX times in all and getting incredible performances out of his attacking players.

Mo Salah, yet again, was instrumental and Dominik Szoboszlai had perhaps his best game in a Liverpool shirt. That said, the Reds' head coach won't be happy about leaking three goals at the back.

FOUR Liverpool players are one booking away from a suspension - Szoboszlai, Cody Gakpo, Ryan Gravenberch and Darwin Nunez and so Slot might have that on his mind before West Ham and Manchester United.

Here we run through how we expect the Merseysiders to look for the game at Anfield tonight.

GK: Alisson Becker

Back in the Liverpool goal and will be hoping for a clean sheet after being beaten three times on Sunday. Could have done better on James Maddison's goal in particular.

RB: Trent Alexander-Arnold

No let-up in the intensity of the games Alexander-Arnold is facing due to the injury sustained by his deputy Conor Bradley. Delivered one absolutely outstanding cross on Sunday in a performance that bore all the hallmarks of a Trent masterclass.

CB: Joe Gomez

Has been growing in confidence on his return to the team following the injury to Ibrahima Konate. Had perhaps his best game of the season on Sunday against Spurs. He covered Trent well and basically marked Son Heung-min out of the game.

CB: Virgil van Dijk

We love Virgil and his presence in the backline is indispensable. However, he will have been annoyed at himself for the manner in which the last two Spurs goals in particular were scored on Sunday.

LB: Kostas Tsimikas

Andy Robertson has been more than adequate in his last couple of outings but is perhaps due a night off following recent exertions. It could well be time to see how Tsimikas fares on a Premier League start once again.

CM: Ryan Gravenberch

Maintained his status as the best defensive midfield player in the world on Sunday and will be expected to command things from the middle again. Then again, he may be rested as he is one card from a booking, allowing Curtis Jones a start.

MF: Alexis Mac Allister

The Argentine should be better rested than some his colleagues following the postponed Merseyside derby and a double suspension. Otherwise, maybe Arne Slot will see fit for Jones to come in.

MF: Dominik Szoboszlai

This might be a selection conundrum for Slot as Szoboszlai is coming off the back of his best-ever game for the Reds but it could well be an opportunity for a rest amid a packed schedule and an impending suspension. Jones might get the nod in place of any of the midfield three in truth.

LW: Luis Diaz

Another player who had a fine outing on Sunday and could well have had even MORE goals. He could revert to the left wing, allowing Cody Gakpo a rest - thereby avoiding a yellow card - and ensuring game time up top for a proper centre forward.

RW: Mohamed Salah

Arne Slot dare NOT leave out the best player in the world no matter if he is in need of a rest or not. Quite simply untouchable.

ST: Darwin Nunez

Maybe an opportunity for Darwin to come back into the team and run one of the Premier League's lesser lights ragged at Anfield. He can thrive in this atmosphere and get properly among the goals. Needs to keep his nose clean however with the threat of suspension looming.
