Liverpool vs Crystal Palace: Latest injury news as Reds aim to bounce back
Liverpool have had a week to forget so far, but they have the chance to boost morale with victory against Crystal Palace in the Premier League this Sunday.
The Reds stumbled to a 2-2 draw with Manchester United last weekend as they surrendered top spot in the Premier League, following that disappointment up with a 3-0 Anfield humiliation at the hands of Atalanta in their Europa League quarter-final first leg on Thursday.
With Liverpool incredibly unlikely to qualify for the final four of Europe's second most prestigious cup competition, the Premier League title is all the Reds have to play for in Jurgen Klopp's final campaign.
Crystal Palace are the next visitors to Anfield and have shown signs of life under new boss Oliver Glasner. Even under Roy Hodgson, Liverpool needed a 90th-minute winner to beat them earlier this season.
Here is the latest injury news for both sides prior to the weekend clash.
LIVERPOOL TEAM NEWS
The only positive from Liverpool's midweek encounter was the return of several injured stars, with Trent Alexander-Arnold, Diogo Jota and Stefan Bajcetic returning to the bench against Atalanta after long layoffs.
Jota even made a 15-minute cameo from the bench as he looks to build his fitness, while Alexander-Arnold and Bajcetic were unused substitutes.
Liverpool's Portuguese forward should be fit to play some part against the Eagles this weekend, while the other two returning stars may take residence on the bench once again.
However, the Reds are still without several players for Palace's visit, including first-choice goalkeeper Alisson. The Brazilian is back in training now but is not fit enough to reclaim his starting berth.
Young Ben Doak is nearing a return to fitness after surgery but is still sidelined, while Joel Matip and Thiago will almost certainly miss the rest of the season.

Glasner also has some injury issues to contend with ahead of the trip to Merseyside, with Marc Guehi - a rumoured Liverpool transfer target - one of his most significant absentees.
The centre-back is sidelined until the final few matches of the season, while previously reported Liverpool target Cheick Doucoure is also missing after sustaining a serious injury back in November.
Sam Johnstone and Rob Holding are also on the treatment table at present, as are versatile defender Chris Richards and young attacker Matheus Franca. Jesurun Rak-Sakyi may return for the Eagles but he won't be pushing for a starting berth at Anfield.
Glasner has confirmed that Michael Olise is closing in on a return to the starting lineup and could feature from the off against Liverpool, while Jairo Riedewald may also be involved in the matchday squad having been missing since February.
